I am a semi-professional drummer with over 30 years experience of playing both live and recording. I initially started out by playing the Trumpet throughout my school years and then started playing the drums before I progressed to study it at the Leeds college of Music.
Over the years I have played at all levels on trumpet and drums in the UK and Europe and have recorded as a session musician, played on TV, Radio, and played in many different ensembles such as Jazz, Big Bands, Concert Bands, Brass Bands and Pop/Soul and Rock bands. I am currently playing drums in a very successful corporate function band.
Drums and music are my passion and I want to help any budding new or current drummers to fulfil their potential and have fun playing the drums.

Specialties
New and intermediate students, teaching the fun stuff that we all love to hear such as Rock, Pop, Indie Soul. Helping students to play with other musicians, structure drum parts and learning songs.
I specialise in student's showcases were the students will perform several of the songs that they have being learning in front of family, friends and invited guests. We have covered a number of different styles in the showcases including, Pop/Rock, Swing, Jazz, Blues and Indie. They have all proved to be a great success and greatly improves the confidence and experience of students drumming.
Other Services, Areas of Knowledge & Musicianship
Students can have the opportunity to play with other musicians (Guitars, Singers) in a Jam class and is suited to all abilities.
Drum set up tuning and maintenance.
Advice on purchasing drums and accessories or I can source drums on behalf of the student.
Teaching Location
All lessons will take place at my studio in Morley. My studio is fully equipped with two kits to help support the students.
