Syllabi:
Lessons are tailored to meet the specific needs & aims of each student. Songs & musical genres that people express an interest in are integrated with practical exercises including rhythms, scales & chord progressions in order to further the students’ technical ability. All material can be learnt purely by memory/ visually or using music & tablature sheets, depending on the students’ aims and interests, I usually recommend a combination of both. Music theory can be integrated into the lessons if required.

Acoustic guitar: fingerstyle Blues, Ragtime, Folk & Jazz.
Gypsy Jazz soloing & improvisation.
Electric guitar: Rock/ blues; soloing & improvisation.
